Peak - Brain Training App Reviews

Love it, very challenging and stimulating

I havent tried it out yet since the update, but thank you sooo much for brining back Street Nav! It was my favourite game and I was bummed out when it was removed!

It has engaging games and progress feedback that motivates you to continue doing more. I took off one star because it would be nice if the subscriptions were a little cheaper but I get it, the company has to make $$$$. Try it and judge for yourself.

The games are fun and I look forward to playing them every day. However, the problems I have are more to do with the performance of the app. Theres lots of lag when scrolling through menus but this dosnt seem to affect the games (exept for one that tests mental agility, making it almost impossible to play). This might be due to my version of ios, which I cant update since Im using an iPhone 4. Here are some other issues I experience: - Text is sometimes cut off mid sentence - I can sometimes play a game thats Premium only even though Im using the free version - Even though I selected No when asked if I want to improve my problem solving skills it still wants me to play games under that catagory and its never explained why. - The number of days Im on a streak is rarely accurate. It would also be nice if it was explained how certain points and percentages are calculated. Coordination dosnt appear to have a catagory in the Your Performance window so I dont know how those games count towards my score.

Sound familiar? Game availability was consistent at the beginning but now its hit and miss. I can only assume that because I didnt pay to go "Pro" is the reason. Cant say I blame them. It was fun while it lasted we have mutually agreed to part ways... Ok parting ways was my call but Im betting Peak wont lose any sleep over my departure. Have fun with it while it lasts.

Awesome brain training games. Great instructions and lots of fun. I also really like that I can be compared to my age group and see my own improvement.

I understand the logical point to most of these games, but Flame Dodge leaves me flabbergasted. It isnt really testing anything except the size of the device used and the machinations of the RNG. Ill probably still hit grand master level, but the whole thing feels arbitrary. Hopefully they develop a better game to replace it, otherwise I cannot really argue an actual complaint.

Great game; very fun. Didnt even notice I was training my brain.

This app (full pay version) offers very average game, and some of the games seem very useless in relation to brain training. Would consider other apps such as Elevate over this one.

Ive been trying to upload the new version for a couple of days. It seems to load but then just hangs and I cant access anything. No functionality- new upgrade sank the app.

been using free for a week and can already see progress. no intention of going pro but will still continue to use

Really enjoying this app.

I recently suffered a medical problem similar to a stroke that left my senses raw and focus,detail and coordination diminished. I have been looking for exercises to help recognize these areas to help strengthen this again and love Peak exercises.

It is fun and it has actually worked really well. I am able to focus a lot more now that I have been playing these games
